Job Summary (List Format):

- Design, implement, manage, and support cloud-based infrastructure and services primarily in Microsoft Azure.
- Work in a hybrid (on-site/remote) capacity; must be local to the area.
- Collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams to ensure a secure, scalable, and business-aligned Azure environment.
- Implement and manage Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions, including Azure VMs, Storage, Networking, Entra ID, App Services, and more.
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM Templates, Bicep, and Terraform.
- Monitor and govern Azure resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Policy, and Application Insights.
- Maintain and implement security best practices, including Zero Trust, RBAC, NSGs, Private Endpoints, Key Vault, and backup/DR solutions.
- Lead or participate in Azure migrations, including hybrid cloud setups, application modernization, and on-premises server migrations.
- Support hybrid cloud environments, integrating on-premises systems with Azure services and utilizing tools like Azure Arc and Azure Stack.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate Azure services into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Optimize resource usage and manage costs through Azure Cost Management and budgeting tools.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Stay current on Azure innovations and recommend updates to cloud strategies and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years in cloud engineering or IT infrastructure with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Hands-on experience with key Azure services (VMs, Storage, Networking, Entra ID Hybrid, App/Function/Logic Apps, AKS, Key Vault, Application Gateway, Firewall, Load Balancing).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python).
- Strong experience with IaC tools (ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform).
- Solid understanding of networking, identity, and security in Azure environments.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud integration and large-scale/scalable Azure infrastructures.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Preferred: Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400); experience with monitoring, alerting, cost management, and hybrid cloud tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
