Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Maryland Heights, MO is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver software development lifecycle (SDLC) projects in the application development and API space. This individual will bring strong project management fundamentals-risk management, escalation handling, dependency tracking, and stakeholder alignment-while balancing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented in project execution yet confident in providing clear executive-level communication and updates.

Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end management of SDLC projects within application development and API integrations
* Oversee project planning, scheduling, and tracking using MS Project and Jira
* Develop and maintain Gantt charts, status reports, and other project tracking artifacts
* Drive cross-functional alignment, ensuring teams deliver on time, within scope, and on budget
* Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership
* Coordinate and facilitate Agile ceremonies and manage Waterfall project phases when required
* Partner with business and technical stakeholders to ensure project goals are met

REQUIREMENTS:
* 2+ years of professional experience in project management
* Strong background in managing SDLC projects in application development and/or API environments
* Solid understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with hands-on delivery experience in each
* Proficiency in Jira and MS Project
* Demonstrated ability to manage escalations, risks, and project dependencies effectively
* Proven success building and maintaining Gantt charts and project tracking artifacts
* Excellent communication skills, with a track record of presenting to executive stakeholders

Preferred Skills:
* PMP, CSM, or other relevant project management certifications
* Prior experience in the telecommunications industry
* Familiarity with enterprise-scale environments and cross-functional program delivery

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
