Hybrid | Atlanta, GA
Rate: $50-$60/hour w-2
Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Jr. Integration Engineer to work in a 6-month contract-to-hire position in Atlanta, GA (Dunwoody). This position is a hybrid role working onsite 2-3 days per week.
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert FTE following contract duration. For our W2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs with internal systems and third-party services
Build and troubleshoot connections between internal systems and external partners
Implement data mapping and transformation logic for integration scenarios
Work closely with product, QA, and external partners to deliver seamless integration solutions
Monitor integration health, investigate issues, and provide support for integration-related problems
Experience Requirements:
2-3 years of experience in API development and system integration
Proficiency in Java development with Spring Boot Microservices experience
Experience with REST API design, development, and consumption
Exposure to API management platforms such as Apigee, MuleSoft, or AWS API Gateway
Basic SQL skills and experience with relational databases
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Skills:
Cloud experience AWS (EKS, EC2, ElastiCache)
Familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys)
Exposure to Salesforce, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS
Basic DevOps knowledge (Docker, CI/CD pipelines)
Experience with Postman, Swagger, and Git
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
