Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location: North Carolina.

This position delivers strategic insight into business systems through complex analysis, reporting, and operational activities. Serves as a technical expert on system usage and performance. Determines business requirements and implements appropriate specifications, monitoring for compliance and effectiveness. Assists in identifying and resolving process issues which may involve system testing or development. May oversee the work of less experienced analysts in the work group.

Responsibilities

  • System Support - Provides expert technical support for systems by responding to escalated inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
  • Identifying Requirements - Translates business requirements into technical requirements. Determines system requirements and communicates them through the use of specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Identifies issues that affect system processes and assists in correcting. Ensures compliance through testing and analysis.
  • IT Liaison - Collaborates and coordinates across various teams within the IT department to deliver solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support

OR

High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a large financial institution (LFI) and/or with a robust SDLC process
  • Experience technically supporting third-party and SaaS applications
  • Experience technically supporting Human Resource applications
  • Experience supporting multiple applications simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
