A HMIS Technical Lead, preferably with 5+ years of demonstrated technical experience working at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in the areas of data modeling and reporting. They will design and implement the HMIS workstream, oversee the technical team working on that workstream, and ensure that the design and development of the HMIS solution align with HUD data model and reporting requirements.

They will collaborate with the selected bidder's other developers, especially with the following:

i) the Data Architect to ensure that the data model supports the HUD model and can be extended to accommodate future changes in data model and reporting;

ii) the Solution Architect, so that the Case Management and HMIS solution are just loosely coupled, which should guarantee that updates to the Case Management solution have no impact on the HMIS solution;

iii) the Lead QA Analyst, developing a testing protocol that ensures that policy changes implemented for Case Management have no impact on the HMIS solution. They will guarantee a consistent and repeatable process for HUD report generation throughout the project lifecycle through the application of combined best development practices and adequate testing protocol.
