Position: Junior Systems Analyst

Location: Newark CA (Remote Open, Locals preferred)

Role Overview: As a Junior Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in our technology team, working closely with stakeholders to analyze business requirements, design efficient systems solutions, and support the implementation and maintenance of software applications, specifically NetSuite. This position offers an exciting opportunity for entry level candidates with a passion for technology and problem-solving to kick-start their career in the field of systems analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements for system enhancements or new initiatives.
2. Systems Design: Design innovative and efficient solutions to meet business needs, considering factors such as scalability, usability, and security.
3. System Implementation: Assist in the configuration, customization, and integration of software applications to align with business requirements and technical specifications.
4. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the reliability, performance, and usability of systems solutions. Conduct troubleshooting and debugging as needed.
5. User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate the adoption and utilization of new systems and features. Address user inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
6. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system requirements, design specifications, user guides, and technical manuals.
7. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
8. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in systems analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the technology team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. Accounting and Finance knowledge will be preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and database technologies (e.g., SQL).
• Prior internship or relevant coursework in maintaining and supporting systems, systems analysis, software development, or related areas is a plus.
