RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Fixed Ops Implementation Consultant in San Ramon, CA.

Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Implementation Consultant with deep experience in automotive fixed operations, specifically within parts and service departments. This role plays a critical part in helping dealerships successfully adopt and optimize new Dealer Management System (DMS) platforms. As a frontline partner, you will lead on-site and remote training sessions, support system configuration, and ensure operational workflows are accurately mapped to the technology solution.

This position requires a strong understanding of dealership service and parts operations, from repair order management and technician dispatching to parts inventory control and pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead dealership training and system implementation for service and parts departments
* Deliver structured onboarding programs, ensuring staff are equipped to use new systems effectively
* Guide service advisors, parts managers, and technicians through updated workflows and features
* Collaborate with internal implementation and support teams to ensure project success
* Track and manage all implementation tasks using internal checklists and project documentation

Validate and configure key fixed ops functions including:
* Repair order processes
* Service write-ups and technician dispatch
* Parts ordering, inventory management, and pricing
* Warranty, labor times, and parts matrix setups

* Identify process gaps and align DMS features with dealership best practices
* Ensure accurate mapping of OEM compliance requirements across service and parts operations
* Maintain detailed notes, capture feedback, and provide post-go-live support as needed
* Act as the liaison between dealership stakeholders and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience working in or with fixed operations in an automotive dealership environment
* Strong working knowledge of service department workflows, parts operations, and DMS platforms
* Experience implementing SaaS or DMS systems in a dealership or multi-store group
* Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, both remote and on-site
* Confident training dealership staff on technical platforms in a clear and relatable manner
* Ability to quickly assess dealership needs and adapt solutions in real time
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong customer service orientation
* Proven ability to manage multiple dealership implementations and prioritize tasks effectively
* Willingness and ability to travel extensively (85-90%)

Preferred Qualifications:
* Degree or background in automotive technology or service management
* Previous experience in dealership roles such as Service Advisor, Parts Manager, or Fixed Ops Director
* Experience working in a consulting or startup environment
* Familiarity with warranty administration, service pricing strategies, or OEM fixed ops compliance

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
