• Lead the technical architecture of a secure, resilient, and scalable hybrid environment (Azure, Amazon Web Services ("AWS"), and on-premises).
• Define integration strategies for legacy systems and cloud-based workloads.
• Develop infrastructure standards, policies, and lifecycle strategies to guide modernization.

• Serve as the lead technical expert (Level 4) for infrastructure, virtualization, networking, and cloud services.
• Work on-site to provide hands-on leadership in system implementation, maintenance, and performance optimization.
• Provide after-hours support and overtime as needed during critical cutovers, incidents, or emergency responses.
• Act as a SME and technical mentor to Information Technology ("IT") staff, supporting internal knowledge transfer and skill-building.
• Mentor IT staff on Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure Backup, and Endpoint Manager operations.

• Design secure architectures compliant with Criminal Justice Information Services ("CJIS"), National Institute of Standards and Technology ("NIST"), and state/local law enforcement standards.
• Oversee identity architecture (Active Directory, Azure Active Directory ("AD"), Entra ID, Amazon Web Services Identify and Access Management ("AWS IAD"), Multi-factor Authentication ("MFA"), Role-based Access Control ("RBAC")).
• Oversee the Public Key Infrastructure ("PKI") infrastructure, ensure encryption, access control, auditability, and secure connectivity across environments.

• Guide the phased migration of infrastructure workloads and services to cloud platforms.
• Architect hybrid networking (Virtual Private Network ("VPN"), Software-Defined Wide Area Network ("SD-WAN"), ExpressRoute, Direct Connect) and ensure connectivity with public safety systems.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, PowerShell, CloudFormation) to automate deployments.

• Maintain detailed and current documentation: diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures ("SOP"), runbooks, security plans, and recovery procedures.
• Conduct technical knowledge transfer sessions and provide formal and informal training to department staff.
• Create and maintain compliance documentation for internal and third-party audits.
