Process Engineer
Job Details
OneSparQ is looking for a Process Engineer in Cleveland, OH.
Responsibilities:
- Improve equipment reliability, safety, and ergonomics while reducing operating and maintenance costs
- Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and enhance material processing and handling methods to boost safety and reduce costs
- Assist in designing and scaling up manufacturing processes, equipment, and instrumentation
- Support production in meeting safety, quality, efficiency, and cost goals
- Maintain accurate documentation for manufacturing processes
- Learn and apply key business metrics (e.g., STR attainment, load, conversion costs) to support profitability
- Understand or assist with piecework systems and time studies
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and R&D teams to provide technical support
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience as an engineer in a manufacturing setting
- Demonstrated skillset with continuous improvement
- Comfortable performing data analysis
- Knowledgeable with installing and troubleshooting new equipment
Additional Skills:
- Experience in chemical processing, material sizing, extrusion, or wire drawing
- Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing concepts
