Description:


Building Maintenance

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure to maintain and continue operation of mechanical systems such as HVAC, boilers, fans, generators, electrical switch gear and ATS
Perform general carpentry, painting, flooring, office furniture moves and spot cleaning on a need base
Ensure the safety of employees through basic safety and compliance inspections of the entire building to identify general corrective maintenance as necessary for proper maintenance and operation of various equipment, fixtures, etc. (fire equipment, elevators, and generators).
Change light bulbs and ballasts, ceiling tiles, replace carpet tiles as needed
Ability to adjust/move furniture
Monitor conference room furnishings, i.e., inventory chairs, clean whiteboards, check that supplies are adequate and phones, lights, etc. are working
General pick-up and cleaning of grounds
Help with company event set-up and tear down
Fill in and/or assist for janitorial vendor as needed
Moderate to heavy lifting, accepting/delivering of packages or mail and hanging pictures
Knowledge of Plumbing and Electrical work
Able to perform Snow Removal work

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Oral and Written Communication- Basic
Organizational- Neat and clean
Analytical- Basic be able to recognize problems and possibilities of approach
Customer Focus- Diligence and sense of urgency in getting tasks completed
Computer/Software Skills: Basic typing and knowledge of e-mail communications
Technical: Drywall repair/painting, light electrical, landscaping, light plumbing, HVAC Equipment
High school or GED minimum
Technical or trade school a plus
Clean driver s license

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience working in the facilities/property management, commercial real estate, or professional services industries
Ability to make sensible, independent decisions with limited supervision
Dependable, cooperative and displays attention to details

Specific Skills Needed:
5-10 years of experience/knowledge of general maintenance methods.
Daily maintenance checks and light work (plumbing, electrical, meeting/training rooms set ups, landscaping)
Weekly trip to other client property managed (ex. Drake House in Indian Hill, OH)
Project team assistance during upcoming remodel as needed, including setting up the swing space
Dock monitoring and package handling as needed during remodel

Notes:
100% Onsite
