Job Details

Job Title: SQL Server + Snowflake + ETL (Ab Initio)
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid 3 days onsite)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL Server, Snowflake, and Ab Initio ETL to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud-based data platforms and a solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop database solutions on Snowflake and SQL Server.

  • Build and maintain ETL processes using Ab Initio or Informatica.

  • Work with JSON, XML, and other complex data structures.

  • Write Unix shell and Windows batch scripts for automation.

  • Ensure adherence to data governance, standards, and best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data integration and reporting needs.

  • Participate in system design, implementation, and performance tuning.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 7+ years of database development experience (Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase ASE, or DB2).

  • 6+ years of experience with Ab Initio or Informatica ETL tools.

  • 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (Snowflake, AWS, or Azure).

  • Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts.

  • Experience with Unix/Windows scripting.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
