Description
We are looking for an experienced Technology Alignment Engineer that is to assess and evaluate the organization's technology systems, processes, and controls. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, safeguarding data integrity, and identifying potential risks in IT infrastructure. Located in Livonia, Michigan, this is a Contract-to-Permanent position
Responsibilities:
Plan and conduct comprehensive audits of IT infrastructure, applications, databases, and security systems.
Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of IT controls to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.
Identify vulnerabilities in IT systems and recommend strategies to mitigate risks such as security breaches, data loss, and downtime.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to address audit findings
Assess network infrastructure, operating systems, and database configurations to ensure optimal performance and security.
Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, risks, and suggested improvements.
Conduct follow-up audits to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved.
Requirements
Proven experience in conducting IT audits, including infrastructure, application, and security reviews.
Strong knowledge of IT controls, risk management, and compliance standards.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server, network infrastructure, and architectural standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address IT-related risks.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities to present findings effectively.
Understanding of operating systems, database management, and network configurations.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations.
Detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple audits simultaneously.
