Job Title: Salesforce CRM Project Manager

Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months (with possible extension)
Rate: $70/hr (W2/C2C)

Job Summary

The City of Sunnyvale is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system, replacing its current Microsoft Dynamics platform with Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing Salesforce CRM implementations, particularly for municipalities or government agencies. This role involves coordinating the full project lifecycle, from scope finalization to go-live and post-production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-lifecycle implementation of Salesforce CRM to replace Microsoft Dynamics.
• Oversee and coordinate data migration including data mapping, extraction, cleansing, testing, and issue resolution.
• Manage system integration activities for:
• Web portal
• Mobile application
• Possible phone/call center interface
• Ensure compliance with:
• City branding/style guidelines
• ADA accessibility standards
• Security and technical specifications
• Design and guide development of dashboards and reports to improve visibility and service levels.
• Review and validate Salesforce system setup to ensure optimal operation and minimal code customization.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training environment setup, and post-go-live transition.
• Collaborate with City stakeholders to establish workflows, SLAs, and best practices.
• Provide oversight of project schedule, scope, budget adherence, and risk mitigation.
• Lead change management planning and documentation efforts.
• Work closely with internal teams to coordinate resource allocation and project deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in CRM implementations.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, particularly in public sector or municipal environments.
• Proven experience in data migration from Microsoft Dynamics to Salesforce.
• Strong knowledge of system integration practices and compliance standards (ADA, security, mobile/web systems).
• Experience managing UAT, training rollouts, and production cutovers..
• Familiarity with workflows, automation, dashboards, and report generation.

Nice to Have

• Prior engagement with Catalyst Consulting Group.
• PMP or Salesforce Certifications (Administrator, Consultant).
