Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering professional with a strong background in modern cloud-based data platforms and enterprise-scale data solutions. The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines, as well as implementing robust data governance and advanced analytics capabilities across complex environments.

This role requires a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in cloud data engineering, with a particular focus on Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric. In addition, the candidate should possess an overall professional background of 10 to 15 years in data engineering, data architecture, or related technical disciplines, demonstrating a consistent track record of delivering high-quality, scalable data solutions.

Key responsibilities include the end-to-end development of ELT and ETL pipelines, implementation of efficient data models, and the creation and maintenance of AI/ML data pipelines to support advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives. The role also involves hands-on work with Unity Catalog, Microsoft Purview, and other governance tools to ensure data quality, lineage, compliance, and security across the organization.

Candidates should be comfortable working in collaborative, cross-functional environments and capable of translating business requirements into technical solutions that align with best practices in cloud data engineering. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work with large, complex datasets are essential.

Professional certifications related to Microsoft Azure-such as Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, or similar credentials-are highly preferred and will be considered an asset.
