Infrastructure Systems Engineer

Piper Companies is looking for an Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join healthcare organization. This is based in Columbia, MD with 3 remote days per week.

Essential Duties of theInfrastructure Systems Engineer:

• Responsible for design, implementation, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure.
• Act as third tier support to resolve production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and develop KBAs.
• Work collaboratively to design solutions based on performance and capacity projection, then work with project team in implementation planning and execution.
• Contributes to the modernization of the infrastructure strategy by helping evaluate, implement, and manage cloud based infrastructure.

Qualifications of theInfrastructure Systems Engineer:

• B.S. or M.S. and 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering.
• Strong on-prem experience and comfortable working in that environment.
• Experience in various parts of infrastructure including Active Directory, DNS, and GPOs as this is a Windows/Microsoft shop.
• Cloud experience is plus!
• PKI infrastructure experience is a plus.

Compensation for theInfrastructure Systems Engineer:

• $100,000 - $130,000 (based on experience)
• 3 days remote per week
