Sr. Back End Developer (.Net/C# with Distributed Cloud)
Location Seattle, WA
For the past 20 years, we have powered many Digital Experiences for the Fortune 500. Since 1999, we have grown from a few people to more than 4000 team members across the globe that are engaged in various Digital Modernization.
We need a strong Backend resource with e-commerce background or worked with front facing customer websites with large volume of transactions and payments.
The role:
- Scope of work: I am hiring for the Booking team. We are going through a rebuild, fully rearchitecting our Booking engine. With Millions of Booking requests going through our systems, we need to build a robust, resilient, and easy to scale system, while meeting our needs for fast response time.
- Deep understanding of microservice architecture, and how to build systems that are data intensive.
- Familiarity with the SAGA architecture pattern
- Minimum of 10 years development skills with .Net (preferred), or object-oriented languages such as Java.
- Important note: the candidate must be able to submit the take-home challenge in C#.
- Experience using web service calls (REST, gRPC )
- Experience working with one of the main Cloud providers (Azure, AWS )
- self-starter, with experience dealing with ambiguity.
Nice to Have:
- Airline industry experience
Ideal Candidate will have
- Experience in large-scale ecommerce platforms.
- Expertise in high-traffic, high-transaction web applications.
- Hands-on work in scalable architecture and performance optimization.
- Strong background in .NET Core, Azure Microservices.
