Demonstrating advanced SQL programming skills for data transformation and integration. The resume should explicitly highlight the deeper capabilities: "Strong expertise in SQL, including performance tuning, query optimization, window functions, joins, aggregations, stored procedures, and database object management." The Data Engineers must transform, integrate, and model data across multiple complex sources. It requires taking messy, inconsistent data from different systems and applying complex business logic to turn it into structured, research-ready datasets. This requires candidates who can work confidently with complex joins, functions, stored procedures, indexing, window functions, debug code, and implement real transformation logic. The candidates should be able to demonstrate these data transformation skills, explain their decisions, and describe debugging processes.
