We're looking for a hands-on, tech-curious IT Technician to join a team that's revolutionizing HVAC automation. This is a hybrid technical/customer-facing role where you'll split your time between the office and onsite customer visits, helping install and support intelligent building systems using cutting-edge automation software and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret wiring diagrams and perform installation, testing, and troubleshooting of automation systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service during onsite visits and installations.
- Work directly with the President/CEO on project priorities and customer solutions.
- Configure and maintain IT infrastructure including Static IPs, VPNs, and IP networking.
- Learn and work with Niagara Tridium or a similar building automation platform (training provided if needed).
- Meet at HQ each morning, then head out to customer locations for hands-on work.
Requirements:
- Strong customer service mindset – you’ll be the face of the company at client sites.
- Working knowledge of IT infrastructure (Static IPs, VPNs, networking fundamentals).
- Experience with wiring diagrams, installation, testing, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Interest or background in programming concepts (Python, Java, etc.) – deep coding not required, just a general understanding.
- Comfort with tools and hands-on technical work.
- Reliable transportation for daily local travel.
Preferences:
- Experience with Niagara Tridium (or similar systems like Honeywell automation).
- A hobbyist background in IT or tech – gamers, tinkerers, and builders encouraged to apply.
Why Join?
This is a unique opportunity to work directly under a company president and contribute to projects that blend IT, automation, and energy systems. If you’re looking to grow your skills, work with cutting-edge building technologies, and potentially convert to a permanent role – this could be your next move.
