We are currently seeking a Jr. Imaging Technician to join our team Onsite based in Milwaukee, WI.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Imaging Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for imaging and shipping PCs, receiving and inventorying computers, and coordinating with users to ensure smooth operations. This role requires a technical background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Imaging and Shipping PCs (40-50%):
- Prepare and configure PCs with the necessary software and settings.
- Perform quality checks to ensure all systems are properly imaged.
- Package and ship PCs to various locations as required.
- Maintain accurate records of all imaged and shipped PCs.
- Receiving and Inventorying Computers (20-30%):
- Receive incoming computer shipments and verify contents.
- Organize and maintain inventory of computers and related equipment.
- Update inventory management systems with accurate information.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Coordination with Users (20%):
- Communicate with end-users to understand their technical needs and requirements.
- Coordinate the delivery and setup of PCs with users.
- Provide basic technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
- Ensure user satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Must have 1 year of experience in Imaging and configuring PCs.
- Must have High school diploma or equivalent, technical certification or degree in IT field preferred.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware and software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
