Job Title: IT Project Manager
Location: Onsite - Westminster
Employment Type: 6+ month contract

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives ranging from minor enhancements to large-scale implementations. The position is centered on managing application and software-related projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. Prior experience in the construction or industrial services sector is a strong advantage for understanding project workflows, stakeholder needs, and industry-specific processes.

Responsibilities

  Oversee all phases of IT projects, with a focus on applications and software systems, from initiation to delivery.

  Partner with stakeholders to clearly define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success measures.

  Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.

  
  


• 
  

  Direct and coordinate the efforts of internal teams, third-party vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless execution.

  
  


• 
  

  Identify, assess, and manage risks while controlling scope changes.

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct regular progress meetings and provide transparent updates to leadership and stakeholders.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure all deliverables meet quality benchmarks and adhere to industry best practices.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain thorough documentation including requirements, test plans, and post-implementation reviews.

  
  


• 
  

  Apply industry knowledge to facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business units.

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Minimum of 5 years' IT project management experience, with a significant emphasis on application/software projects.

  
  


• 
  

  Preferred certifications: PMP, CAPM, Agile/Scrum.

  
  


• 
  

  In-depth understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and project management approaches (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects with competing priorities.

  
  


• 
  

  Industry background in construction or industrial services strongly preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Must be able to work onsite daily in Denver, CO.
