Job Title: IT Project Manager
Location: Onsite - Westminster
Employment Type: 6+ month contract




Role Summary


We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives ranging from minor enhancements to large-scale implementations. The position is centered on managing application and software-related projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. Prior experience in the construction or industrial services sector is a strong advantage for understanding project workflows, stakeholder needs, and industry-specific processes.




Responsibilities




  • Oversee all phases of IT projects, with a focus on applications and software systems, from initiation to delivery.




  • Partner with stakeholders to clearly define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success measures.




  • Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.




  • Direct and coordinate the efforts of internal teams, third-party vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless execution.




  • Identify, assess, and manage risks while controlling scope changes.




  • Conduct regular progress meetings and provide transparent updates to leadership and stakeholders.




  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality benchmarks and adhere to industry best practices.




  • Maintain thorough documentation including requirements, test plans, and post-implementation reviews.




  • Apply industry knowledge to facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business units.






Qualifications




  • Minimum of 5 years' IT project management experience, with a significant emphasis on application/software projects.




  • Preferred certifications: PMP, CAPM, Agile/Scrum.




  • In-depth understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and project management approaches (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).




  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects with competing priorities.




  • Industry background in construction or industrial services strongly preferred.




  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.




  • Must be able to work onsite daily in Denver, CO.
