Job Title: Android Developer (Kotlin)
Location: Seattle, WA (On-site)

About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Android Developer with strong Kotlin experience to join our mobile development team in Seattle. In this role, you'll work on developing, enhancing, and maintaining our Android applications used by thousands (or millions) of users. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver world-class mobile experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
  • Integrate RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of professional Android development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and good understanding of Android SDK and Android Studio
  • Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern UI development on Android
  • Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks like Hilt or Dagger
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like JUnit, Espresso
  • Published at least one app on Google Play Store
  • Knowledge of security best practices in mobile development .
