Job Description Summary
Member of specialized team that monitors the health of our rotating components in our global fleet of 25,000 wind turbines. Team members analyze incoming data like spectrums, and alarms from components then take action with the site to determine best course of action. This is critical role for our world class fleet!

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Monitor given fleet and evaluate the health of rotating components
  • Analyze incoming alarms, signatures, and data to make decisions for fleet execution
  • Responsible for responding to support cases from customers
  • Troubleshoot application alerts from monitoring tools and follow SOPs to resolve or escalate appropriately
  • Support customer communication during critical events and lead retrospective meetings
  • Support customer satisfaction by improving support team quality, knowledge, and training
  • Support root cause investigation implementing any learnings or improvement opportunities
  • Drive projects that improve customer experience, application process or performance with guidance
  • Assist & own the preparation of end user support documentation and knowledge
  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders
  • Ensure support team readiness and availability
  • Investigate the possibilities of automation for self-service of end user support
  • Partner with product service owners on new service introductions, change, and transition to operations
  • Manage and drive relationship with suppliers reviewing innovative ideas and improving resolution, by reducing the need to escalate to vendors

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in wind industry vibration analysis of gears and bearings

The base pay range for this position is $88,600.00 - $147,600.00 USD Annual USD Annual USD Annual USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation of 10%. This posting is expected to close no earlier than April 29, 2025.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
