IMMEDIATE NEW JOB OPENING for a MicroStrategy Data Engineer to join our team for a 6+ week engagement. This role can be done remotely for our global client and will support internal-facing reporting and development initiatives. This role will focus on building and maintaining dashboards, managing data workflows, and supporting CI/CD and version control processes using MicroStrategy, Redshift SQL, Bamboo, and Bitbucket.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Strategic Operations team and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Design and develop MicroStrategy dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
• Write and optimize Redshift SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Support CI/CD workflows using Bamboo for automated testing and deployment.
• Manage code repositories and version control using Bitbucket.
• Document technical processes, data flows, and deployment procedures.

Required skills:

• Strong experience with MicroStrategy development and administration.
• Proficiency in Redshift SQL and data modeling.
  Familiarity with Bamboo for CI/CD automation.
• Experience with Bitbucket for source control and collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile environments.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Bachelor s degree in computer science, or other analytical field.
• End-to-end understanding of the data flow process (from ingestion to consumption layer).
• Solid working experience with surrounding and supporting disciplines (data quality, data operations, data modelling, BI/Data WH/Data Lake).
• Experience using R, Python or other statistical analysis & data mining tools is a plus
• Experience with process improvement (Six-Sigma) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile Project Management is preferred.
