Job Details

MINIMUM (MANDATORY) QUALIFICATIONS
  • Seven (7) years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible experience applying Project Management principles, methods, techniques, and tools, with at least four (4) years as a Senior Project Manager on one or more large or complex IT projects.
  • (11 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor s degree.)
  • Bachelor s degree in any discipline, or equivalent additional qualifying experience substituted on a year-for-year basis.
  • Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • Five (5) years of IV&V (Independent Verification & Validation) services experience for federal, state, and/or local government entities, including:
  • Observing and assessing tools, artifacts, and activities related to design, development, coding, testing, databases, and project management
  • Assessing business, technical, and enterprise architecture artifacts, tools, and environments
  • Developing IV&V monthly activity and task reports
  • Performing requirements traceability matrix (RTM) analysis
  • Two (2) years of experience working on IT projects using Agile solution implementation methodologies, including user-centered design and iterative development.
  • Two (2) years of demonstrated experience applying IEEE Std. 1012 (System and Software Verification and Validation) on an IT project.
  • Five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years serving as an IV&V Lead on a large-scale software development project.
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
  • Possession of an additional PMI or SCRUM Alliance certification (e.g., PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe).
  • At least two (2) years of experience in Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation.
  • At least two (2) years of hands-on, operational experience using two or more of the following platforms or tools:
AWS
Databricks
ServiceNow
JIRA
Azure DevOps
  • At least two (2) years of experience with the State of California Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) or Project Management Framework (PMF).
