Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules, along with integration knowledge of other SAP modules like MM, SD, and PP. You will be responsible for implementing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing SAP FICO solutions to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and customize SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, PCA, IO, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, etc.).
  • Lead and support end-to-end SAP FICO implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Analyze business processes, gather requirements, and design SAP FICO solutions.
  • Integrate SAP FICO with other modules (MM, SD, PP) and external systems.
  • Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, and conduct user training.
  • Troubleshoot issues, provide post-implementation support, and resolve defects.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external consultants.
  • Stay updated with SAP S/4HANA Finance trends and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 14+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP FI (General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting) and CO (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing, CO-PA).
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is a plus.
  • Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP).
  • Understanding of financial reporting, tax, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • SAP FICO certification.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with FSCM (Credit Management, Collections, Dispute Management).
  • Knowledge of BRF+, Fiori, and SAP BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation).
  • Exposure to migration/upgrade projects.
