Job Details

Title: IT PMO Analyst

Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid willing to go onsite 3 days every week)

We are looking for a IT PMO Analyst who has experience working in the IT PMO and has strong experience in developing KPIs and dashboards on a portfolio of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather the data outputs from projects and develop reports and forecast about past and future project performance, analyze/manage the data and find insights that can be used to improve projects and how they function.
  • Prepare data and reports for project managers, the PMO team, project stakeholders, and the C-suite, with an understanding of the different needs of each.
  • Develop portfolio-level metrics and reporting.
  • Coordinate and report project portfolio health, trend analysis for plan and budget including annual planning, quarterly/monthly forecasts, etc.
  • Track vendor invoices and payments.
  • Work with Project Managers in developing a consolidated Risk & Issues log and reporting on it a regular basis.
  • Develop PMO level KPIs and Dashboards using Excel and/or Power BI.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience working as a PMO Analyst
  • Experience working in a large-scale IT project/program management environment
  • Extensive experience of Excel pivot tables, formulas, charts, and dashboards
  • Experience developing reports using Power BI or similar tools
  • Experience with Risk and Issue Management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively tailor communication of technically complex issues to various audiences
  • Strong presentation, organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
