Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Software Developer Architect with a deep background in cloud-native architectures and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable cloud applications and services, providing technical direction and mentoring to engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, design, and implement large-scale, high-performance software systems on cloud platforms (OCI and other CSPs).
Define and enforce architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices across engineering teams.
Lead design reviews, proof-of-concept development, and technology evaluations for new projects.
Collaborate closely with product management, product development, DevOps, and security teams to deliver reliable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
Provide technical mentorship to developers and ensure high-quality code delivery.
Build AI soultions to improve Devops productivity and cloud service efficiency
Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability through proactive design and continuous improvement.
Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their potential for adoption.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
12+ years of professional software development experience.
3+ years in an architect or technical lead role.
Proven expertise in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C#, or Node.js).
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
Hands-on experience with OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform services (compute, networking, storage, and security).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform), and DevOps practices.
Strong understanding of API design, microservices, event-driven architectures, and data streaming.
Solid foundation in software design patterns, distributed systems, and RESTful or GraphQL architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
Cloud Architect certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect).
Experience with serverless frameworks (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
Familiarity with data engineering, AI/ML pipelines, or observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
Strong background in security best practices and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, etc.).
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence technical direction across teams.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $136,600 to $338,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
