Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Kotlin Developer to join our team and work with our end client in Seattle, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable backend systems using Kotlin. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to critical software solutions that support business operations at a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement backend services and APIs using Kotlin
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other developers to build scalable and high-quality software
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and maintainability
  • Ensure best practices in code quality, security, and design
  • Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across services and systems
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose improvements

Required Skills:
  • Strong experience with Kotlin for backend development (at least 3 years)
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented and functional programming concepts
  • Experience with frameworks such as Ktor, Spring Boot (with Kotlin), or similar
  • Good knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and API design
  • Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, or other DevOps tools
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
