Job Description:

Apex Systems is hiring for a Business Systems Analyst for a major Healthcare company.

6 month contract to hire/extend.

FULLY REMOTE anywhere in the United States; EST or CST preferred.

You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

About the role:

The Compliance Domain team supports and reports on activities related to HEDIS compliance.

Team is to be built, it doesn't exist yet. Key projects are to document and solidify several key business processes, and migrate a tracking/information tool out of Smartsheet into a web-based application.

Education/Experience:

Bachelors degree

2-4 years experience

Health care experience is a plus!

Business process design and development

System analysis and design

Proficiency with data visualization tools

Technical Skills:

Proven ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.

Excellent documentation skills, with attention to detail and clarity.

Experience with system testing, UAT, and defect tracking.

Soft Skills:

Work is remote - a high degree of autonomy is expected. The ability to prioritize and complete tasks on schedule is a must.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messages to technical and non-technical audiences.

Day to Day:

This role works with various members of IT and business to gather the processes that are done related to various compliance activities. Document those activities into a flowchart. Resolve any conflicts or issues with the process. Present the flowchart to various levels of the organization for feedback. Work with the development team as those flowcharts and processes are put into applications.

Role will be expected to facilitate requirements gathering, will assist with QA, and will document all artifacts required for the projects. This is a highly visible role that interacts with key stakeholders - excellent communication skills (both written and oral) are a must.
