The Accounting Operations and Analysis (AOA) team is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Migration Analyst to join our team. A successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition of customer, contact, contract, billing and accounts receivable data from business legacy systems to our Enterprise financial system, Oracle PeopleSoft. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. Additionally, the Data Migration Analyst will support short and long term operational / strategic business activities - by designing, developing, testing, and deploying new ETL packages to improve controls, accuracy, and efficiency of the migration process.

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. Primary Responsibilities:
- Steady State
- Data Gathering:
- Collect source data from business partners to support migration activities
- Data Analysis:
- Analyze data and report findings to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for next steps
- Data Manipulation:
- Clean and prepare business data for loading into staging environments
- Data Transformation:
- Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) procedures to transform data for final loading into production environment
- Maintain and update ETL packages to align with evolving requirements, best practices, and technologies
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other key stakeholders throughout the data migration process
- Ability to lead conversations with business partners about the capabilities, functions, and processes of ERP

- Help refine and simplify the data gathering process
- Help Design, develop, test, and deploy new ETL packages to improve controls, accuracy, and efficiency
- ETL Package Development:

Required Qualifications:
- Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process
- Proficiency in data manipulation and transformation techniques using SQL
- Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proven attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ETL tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Oracle PeopleSoft ERP Experience
- Migration experiences moving financial data
- Experience in data manipulation and transformation techniques using Python or Visual Basic
