Job Details

Requirements:
  • 4 or more years of experience in legal practice, with an active Tennessee law license.
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal filings.
  • Experience with administrative hearing processes.
  • Experience in reviewing legal representative documents (POAs, HIPAA).
  • Experience in preparing motions and preliminary legal filings.
  • Experience in collaborating with legal specialists for evidence packets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Review POAs, authorized representative forms, and HIPAA authorizations for sufficiency.
  • Prepare motions and other preliminary legal filings for hearings.
  • Research laws, rules, and policies pertaining to Medicaid.
  • Litigate appeals through the administrative hearing process.
  • Draft appropriate appellate documents and pleadings.
  • Gather information to comply with discovery requests.
  • Collaborate to create information packets as evidence for hearings.
