Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full lifecycle of new product development, from initial concept through to production launch, ensuring innovative and practical solutions.
• Conduct market and customer research to align product design with real-world needs and industry trends.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, marketing, operations, and quality assurance to deliver seamless project outcomes.
• Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering professional growth and ensuring project milestones are met on time.
• Manage prototyping, testing, and validation processes to confirm product safety, functionality, and compliance with industry standards.
• Utilize advanced engineering tools such as 3D CAD modeling, FEA, and DFMEA to optimize product designs and mitigate risks.
• Oversee project timelines and budgets, supporting smooth product launches and resolving engineering challenges swiftly.
• Ensure all engineering documentation meets regulatory and quality requirements for successful product implementation.

What you need for this position:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in new product development, ideally working with complex mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Creo preferred) along with a strong background in prototyping, testing, and design validation.
• Solid understanding of engineering processes, product lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience applying FEA, DFMEA, and other risk assessment techniques to ensure product reliability and safety.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver results on time.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude combined with effective communication and collaborative teamwork.
• Previous experience mentoring engineering teams and working in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment.
