Job Title : Sr. Cloud Network Automation Engineer SME

Contract / CTH

Duration: 6 month 1 year with extension

Location : Preferred Pleasanton, however open for remote for strong candidates

Project Description

  • Extremely Urgent project, Global initiative for theNetworking Resiliency across the board.
  • Taking everything that is network automation and automating across the board . Everything in the new build will be completely suing a networking automation framework.
  • This encompasses cloud/edge, retail, backstage and everything
  • The project is well underway, with the schedule and plan in place. The goal is to complete everything by Q3. The architecture and design are already done, and we re currently working with various partners on their respective parts of the project.
  • At this stage, we need resources to handle the technical low level design and implementation so we can begin putting everything in place. These resources need to get engaged immediately.
  • Some of the FTEs are currently balancing their day to day responsibilities while also trying to kick off portions of this project. We are looking to hire as soon as possible.

Duties/Day to Day Overview

  • This role will focus on building, automating, and managing cloud-based network infrastructure, ranging from firewalls to load balancers and routers, across multi-cloud environments.

Must haves :

  • (Azure & Google Cloud Platform/OCI (will be a great to have), GIT Actions ci/cd pipeline)
  • Strong network automation and networking experience
  • Manage network modules in GitHub
  • Knows how to code in terraform . Maybe someone who was network engineer architect but now they do a lot of terraform, automation encoding, Ansible, Git Actions
  • Knows networks and Firewalls, knows how to automate network gear: load bouncers, firewalls, routers, all of that in cloud
  • GIT Actions ci/cd pipeline experience
  • Must have solid network experience
  • Experience with Network automation in Azure and Google Cloud Platform building networks.
