Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Exadata Administrator to manage and support Oracle Exadata systems across production and non-production environments. This role is responsible for system configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and ensuring availability of mission-critical databases. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle technologies, Linux administration, and automation.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and configure Exadata clusters (prod and non-prod).
- Set up and tune RAM, HugePages, and Platinum Gateway.
- Configure and manage Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
- Recreate, test, and troubleshoot Exadata clusters.
- Support database migrations, patching, and upgrades.
- Develop and maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, and scripts.
- Ensure security, compliance, and monitoring of Exadata systems.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Oracle Exadata (X8, X9 or later).
- Proficiency in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and OEM Cloud Control.
- Solid Linux administration background (memory, CPU tuning, HugePages).
- Experience troubleshooting cluster and performance issues.
- Scripting skills (Shell, Python, Ansible preferred).
- Experience in Oracle Databases (11, 12, 19, and above) in the administration and management.
- Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Exadata Specialist certifications.
- Experience with OCI Exadata Cloud Service (ExaCS) or Exadata Cloud@Customer.
- Prior experience in highly regulated enterprise environments.
