Job Description:
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance of in-house applications using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Forms
- Conduct Code design and development for larger projects using Oracle SQL, PL/ SQL, and Oracle Forms
- Develop PL/SQL database objects, SQL scripts, interfaces, reports, and forms using standard tools, including Oracle Forms, Report Builder, Oracle Application Framework, BI Publisher
- Oracle performance tuning/optimization
- Optimizing SQL
- Tuning Oracle
- Hands-on development of quality
- Responding promptly to any technical or general questions on File Mover
- Provide L4 Support to the production team
- Support functions include problem investigation, development, testing, and deployment to live
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java, Spring Framework
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC): requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
- Ensure code quality, security, and performance through best practices and code reviews.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Oracle technologies, including SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Forms. Familiarity with database management and application programming interfaces (APIs) is essential.
- Previous experience in Oracle development or a related field is often preferred, along with familiarity with software development methodologies.
- Experience in Java/J2EE development.
- Knowledge of MVC design patterns and software architecture principles.
- Experience with RESTful APIs / Web Services integration.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies is a plus.
- Understanding of version control tools like Git.
