Title: Technical Project Manager Mainframe
Location: Plano, TX (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months
Role Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong Mainframe background to lead and manage enterprise mainframe initiatives. The ideal candidate will drive delivery across complex mainframe environments while coordinating closely with technical teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of mainframe projects
- Manage scope, schedule, risks, and releases in Agile environments
- Coordinate cross-functional teams working on COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, IMS
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and manage Jira boards
- Handle stakeholder communication, reporting, and release management
- Ensure timely delivery and quality across all project phases
Required Skills
- Strong experience as a Technical Project Manager
- Hands-on understanding of Mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, IMS
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proficiency with Jira and project tracking tools
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
