Job Details

Overview:
We're seeking a reliable and communicative Field Service Technician to support residential and small business clients. This role primarily involves handling service tickets, with occasional installation assignments. Technicians will manage their schedules and job details via a mobile app and are expected to maintain excellent customer communication and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to service and installation tickets for residential and small business security systems.
  • Use the mobile app to view job details, locations, and schedules.
  • Contact customers prior to arrival and notify the manager if running late.
  • Receive and manage inventory shipped directly to your home; maintain accurate records.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CCTV, access control, and security systems.
  • Replace system components such as panels, peripheral devices, and alarms as needed.
  • Diagnose system failures and determine appropriate repairs.
  • Follow safety protocols to prevent injury and property damage.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure customer satisfaction after each visit.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with CCTV, Access Control, and Security Systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Class A Limited Energy Technician License under Brinks
  • Intermediate-level experience in the field
  • Strong organizational skills, especially with inventory management

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
