Forklift Driver - Full Time, All Shifts

Seeking a motivatedForklift Driverto join our team. Responsiblefor the loading and unloading of trucks, receiving, storing, and distributing material and products to all departments.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shiftsavailable6 day work week.
  • Starting hourly pay of $20.33, plus shift differential.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:
  • Completes daily forklift checklist at the beginning of each shift.
  • Operates stand-up and sit-down forklifts tosort and store perishable goods in designated areas.
  • Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, picklists, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Records amounts of materials or items received and/or distributed on count sheets and picklists.
  • Labels materials with barcodes containing identifying information on inbound receipts.
  • Weighs, counts items for distribution, and performs weekly cycle counts of assigned areas.
  • Maintains inventory records through proper scanning, labeling and storage of product.
  • Reports any damage to forklifts, equipment, or product to supervisor and submits maintenance requests as needed.
  • Cross trains in all duties and responsibilities of all nonexempt Warehouse positions.
  • Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted.
  • Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts,required.
  • 3+ months of experience operating Crown stand-up forklifts,required.
  • High School Diploma/GED,preferred.

SKILLS:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment, food storage experience helpful.
  • Experience operating stand-up forklifts and with bar coding and data collection.
  • Ability to navigate narrow aisles in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to do basic math and use calculators and computers.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
  • Speak, write, and understand English; Bilingual (Spanish/English) helpful.
