SME Computer Systems Engineer/Architect (Cloud Operations) Army Office of Enterprise Management

Responsibilities:
- Provide Enterprise Scale Application Architecture and Migration into Commercial Cloud Environments
- Perform Application Architecture logical and entity framework based Design
- Support application assessments with technical expertise to support decisions relating to application rehosting, re-platform, refactor/replace, retire or retain applications to best meet mission requirements
- Support application operations and improvements once they have been migrated to the cloud
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
- Minimum of 5 years experience with Application Architecture, Application Design, Application Refactoring, microservices and web services
- Minimum of 5 years experience with architecting and designing applications
- 3-5 years experience in designing cloud solutions; preferably AWS
- Active Security clearance or ability to obtain desired
Additional Skills: (Experience in one or more is a Plus)
- AWS PaaS Services for e.g., like integrating Database, VMs, Low code/No code solutions
- Technical Domains such as serverless and Low Code/No Code Analytics Applications
- AWS/Azure DevSecOps Services: AWS and or Azure Pipeline based CI/CD software releases and code branch work flow
- Experience with Visio

The compensation range for this role is up to 180k based on the function, education, experience and qualifications of the applicants.
