Indotronix is seeking an IBM MQ Developer Remote position with our direct client
Position Title: IBM MQ Developer
Position Location: Remote
Duration: Contract to hire
Acceptable time zone(s): Open to all
Days of the week: Mon-Fri
Working Hours (Flexible): 40 hours, 8 am-5 pm, flexible
Duration: Contract to hire
OT: Minimal, in some cases
Travel: No
Industry background:
Banking/financial background, healthcare administration background or experience working in a highly regulated environment highly preferred
Roles and Responsibilities:
-Dedicated to the resiliency project
-Assist the application development teams with eliminating depreciated code in the current platform and assisting them with other issues as they develop against the new platform.
Level 2:
3-5 Years
Must Have Technical Skills:
-IBM MQ Series
-IBM Operational Decision Manager Developer (ODM)
-IBM Operational Decision Manager Developer v8.11 or above (admin side of business)
-Kubernettes
-OpenShift
-RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
-REST API Development
-IBM WAS (WebSphere) Liberty
-WAS (WebSphere) ND
-IBM ODM (Operational Decision Manager) v9 (only been out for 2 years so understandable if candidates have lower experience with this)
-Helm Charts
Flex Skills/Nice to Have:
ODM v8.11 or above developer skills (RuleApp Development)
Soft Skills:
-Strong verbal communication
-Ability to work with application development teams in a consulting/advisory role
Education/Certifications:
-Experience in lieu of education
-Any IBM, ODM, WebSphere or OpenShift certification is a plus
Role Differentiator:

Interview Process:
1 Round - 3-5 person panel - 2 Senior Technical Engineers, 3 Managers - 1HR
2nd round may be needed if scheduling does not align with engineers and managers
