Job Details

Seeking a Senior Program Manager (PM) to oversees, leads, and administers the setting up of Salesforce Program. PM is the individual ultimately responsible to the agency. PM primary responsibility is to drive the entire efforts for setting up the Salesforce Org, implement IT s Big Ideas, application rewrite, governance, and operations. The PM must ensure that any risks to projects are addressed to assist with timely completion and that the final product meets the business, technical, and established quality requirements.

Role and Experience

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study
  • 10+ years of project management experience in Information Technology projects and a proven track record of handling multiple projects concurrently with successful project delivery results.
  • 5+ years of business process analysis
  • 3+ years of workflow automation
  • 3+ years of Salesforce experience
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Strategic Planning & Leadership

  • Define and drive the overall Salesforce program vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Align Salesforce initiatives with business goals and stakeholder priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in program planning and execution.

Program Oversight

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Salesforce-related projects and initiatives.
  • Oversee timelines, budgets, deliverables, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure governance, risk management, and compliance across Salesforce implementations.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, prioritization, and expectation setting.
  • Communicate status updates, milestones, and issues to senior leadership.

Process Improvement

  • Analyze and improve business processes through Salesforce automation and tools.
  • Champion best practices in CRM adoption, data quality, and user engagement.
  • Drive continuous improvement using feedback, metrics, and analytics.

Technical Oversight (Non-Coding Role)

  • Collaborate with Salesforce developers, administrators, and architects on technical solutions.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of the Salesforce platform.
  • Oversee integrations with other enterprise systems (ERP, marketing automation, etc.).

Change Management & Training

  • Lead change management efforts to support adoption of Salesforce features.
  • Plan and coordinate training programs for users and stakeholders.
  • Support user onboarding and provide enablement resources.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for Salesforce initiatives.
  • Deliver dashboards and reports that provide business insight and value.

PM Duties

  • Experienced PM will provide oversight, direction, and guidance to project teams to ensure progress, alignment with business and technical requirements and goals, and monitor timelines across all 4 Big Idea projects.
  • PM will drive and oversee the creation of the various governance processes for Salesforce Program.
  • PM will assist in the org setup and manage the planner and activities including oversight, orchestration, coordination, and delegation.
  • PM will be responsible for working with the project teams across multiple vendors including the Salesforce Strategic Consult hired to assist setting up Salesforce Org, internal teams, leadership, and program area Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Responsible for working with line of business SMEs and key stakeholders to optimize the value IT delivers and to accomplish the Big Ideas. PM will be responsible for leading meetings, oversee various projects, manager the Salesforce Program plan, develop a program roadmap, facilitate vendor management, and manage risks and issues.

  • Provide general project management support which includes developing and maintaining work breakdown structures, assisting project teams with developing and maintaining project schedules, assisting with the requirements definition process, interfacing with technology subject matter experts, working with project managers to drive projects towards on-time completion, within budget and meeting quality standards.
  • Working with project teams to identify risks and issues. Identifying mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct status meetings and perform risk assessments, track action items and provide reporting needed by the Division Leadership.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure high quality and on-time delivery of projects.
  • Solid experience in leading the implementation of workflow automation solution including gathering and creating efficient business workflow process.
  • Extensive knowledge of project management processes, systems development methods, technology management best practices, organizational change management concepts, and business process improvement methods.
  • In-depth knowledge of project planning techniques and automated project planning tools.
  • Experience in managing several different priorities and responsibilities.
  • Experience creating detailed project documents including project charter, implementation plan, test plan, deployment plan, and reports and giving presentations based on the appropriate audience.
  • Proven track record in managing complex infrastructure and website development projects from conception through completion while working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience performing business analysis and/or project management for software development projects.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Experience in vendor management.

Preferred

  • Large-scale Salesforce implementation experience is preferred.
  • Project Management PMP credentials is preferred.
  • Experience leading digital workflow automation projects preferred.
