Position: Service Now Test Engineer
Location: on-site 5 days a week in Tampa, FL
Estimated Duration: The client approximates that this project may last up to 5 years months. However, there is no guarantee of employment for any length of time.
Pay Rate: 85-100/hr. (paid weekly on W2)
Project Description: Our client, a large government integrator, is looking for a ServiceNow Systems Engineer. In this position, the candidate will need to maintain the development, test, and production ServiceNow environments as well as support ongoing operations and maintenance activities and projects.

Project Description: Our client, a large government integrator, is looking for a ServiceNow Systems Engineer. In this position, the candidate will need to maintain the development, test, and production ServiceNow environments as well as support ongoing operations and maintenance activities and projects.
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
- As Systems Engineer, responsible for ServiceNow system maintenance, workflow development, bug fixes, enhancements, upgrades and assisting with the technical implementation of the tool.
- Work with CITS Cloud team to implement ServiceNow system solutions and integrations with other systems within a classified environment (e.g. Impact Level 6 (IL6)).
- Assist with implementation and support of ITOM and ITAM applications to include discovery, asset management, service mapping pattens, and event management.
- Monitor systems stability to prevent service degradation or interruption. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential gaps.
- Work with DBAs tin support of MariaDB to include installation, optimization, indexing and coding.
- Assist with the configuration and maintenance of ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) modules with expertise in Agile Development along with Demand, Project, Portfolio, and Resource Management.
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports to provide visibility into portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities.

Requirements:
- 5-7+ years of experience with ServiceNow development and administration
- Experience installing and configuring MID Servers with Linux, creating custom SNMP Patterns, Data Policy, etc.
- Experience in ITSM and CMDB at minimum
- Integrations into CMDB
- Secret Clearance with eligibility to get up to a TS/SCI
- Strong administrative and development skills, with hands-on experience in coding and scripting.
- Experience with ServiceNow implementation and configuration.
- ServiceNow Admin Certification and sec+ is required; ITIL4 certification is a plus.
