The team is working on the tail end of a transformation program. They focus on the mutual fund record keeping systems - they are modernizing it and moving to cloud.
The tech stack is Golang/java (for wires) and need all AWS services: Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, EventBridge
Candidate needs to be a strong developer who can hit the ground running with minimal help.
They need to be a 10+ years person.
The primary skills sets are Golang (or Python background and they can learn GoLang), and strong AWS services experience (see above). They need the business logic understanding within the services. Need to have worked on a product.
They need to drive outcomes, be engaged and ask questions
Client is seeking a GoLang Developer who can ramp up fast, understand an existing codebase, and start contributing to active tickets. The right candidate should demonstrate strong learning agility, solid AWS experience, and confidence working with both business and product teams.
Must-Have Skills
* Proficiency or strong ability to learn GoLang and related frameworks quickly.
* Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, EventBridge
* Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC), preferably using CloudFormation.
* Experience working with both NoSQL and relational databases.
* Familiarity with Python and modern test frameworks.
* Proven experience solving complex technical challenges in distributed or cloud-based environments.
Nice to haves:
* Experience with containerized microservices and serverless architectures.
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in agile or cross-functional environments.
* Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
