ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are currently recruiting for an Information Security Engineer to join the Company's Technology team at our office in Woodland Hills, California. Hybrid role. The position reports into the Management of Security and Compliance and focus are to ensure the company's digital assets are protected from unauthorized access. This includes securing both on-premises and off-premises infrastructures.
Primary Responsibilities
Monitor and optimize threat protection tools to remediate any potential threats.
Monitor networks to stay informed of all activity taking place across the defined networks to protect.
Prepare reports of threats and potential security breaches and the extent of the damage or potential damage.
Analyze networks, providing suggestions and best practices for employees and users to maintain data security.
Implement the necessary security steps to protect the organization s infrastructure and current data
Determine necessary changes, engage, and work with other supporting teams to implement the changes for the given product area, codebase, or systems
Handle daily administrative responsibilities such as reporting and maintaining contact with the proper departments of the organization
Stay up to date on trends and advances in security and information technology to ensure defined systems are continually protected from potential threats, and that best practices deployed.
Create detailed remediation requirements and steps to application developers and infrastructure teams.
Install software that is created to protect sensitive information, such as firewalls and data encryption programs.
Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents
Performing penetration testing
Conduct tests and scans to find any network and system vulnerabilities
Qualifications
Must be a strong Cyber Security Engineer
Must be an expert in all Azure security stack
3-5+ years of experience in the Azure automation, Engineering, design and analytics
3-5+ years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of Cloud and Enterprise security programs
Desired Qualifications
Any IT Security Certifications
