Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Guidewire Technical Lead to oversee the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter). The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hands-on technical expertise, and experience delivering Guidewire solutions in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership: Lead a team of developers through all phases of the software development lifecycle using Guidewire suite applications.

Incident Management: Manage critical incidents for customers and provide work-around to Business team, support the team in driving the closure of incidents.

Solution Design: Translate business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions.

Implementation Oversight: Manage and guide the configuration and integration of Guidewire applications, including data model customization, business rules, and web services.

Code Review & Quality: Ensure adherence to coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.

Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery.

Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and support teams.

Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Guidewire applications and integrations.

Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of architecture, design decisions, and configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

6+ years of experience in Guidewire implementations, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.

Expertise in at least one of the Guidewire modules: PolicyCenter, BillingCenter

Strong experience with Gosu programming language, Java, XML, and web services (SOAP/REST), Integration Gateway, App Events

Solid understanding of Guidewire Data Model, PCF, Rules Framework, and Integration.

Experience with Guidewire Cloud and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines) is a plus.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
