Job Title: Tier 2 Desktop Support
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Tier 2 Desktop Support professional to join our client to support end-users, strengthen daily IT operations, and keep hardware and applications running smoothly. In this role, you'll handle a blend of device imaging, equipment logistics, troubleshooting, and mortgage application support. You ll partner closely with IT teams and business users to resolve issues quickly, streamline device deployment, and maintain reliable system performance. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced technical environment and enjoys delivering hands-on, customer-focused support.Compensation:

Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PMKey Responsibilities of the Tier 2 Desktop Support:
Deliver device imaging, configuration, and deployment to support ongoing hardware refreshes and new-hire onboarding.
Troubleshoot hardware issues across laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals while ensuring smooth day-to-day workstation performance.
Provide frontline support for mortgage applications and Level 1 tickets, resolving issues directly or routing them to the appropriate teams.
Manage equipment logistics including shipping, receiving, processing end-of-life assets, and maintaining accurate asset and inventory records.
Support users with application needs, technology requests, account access setup, and documentation updates to keep IT operations organized and compliant.
Qualifications and Skills for the Tier 2 Desktop Support:
Hands-on experience with laptop imaging, hardware troubleshooting, and break/fix support for devices such as printers and scanners.
Strong understanding of Active Directory, remote support practices, and general application support including mortgage systems.
Proficiency in MS Office, clear communication abilities, and strong documentation habits to support accurate ticketing and asset tracking.
Prior experience in customer service, IT helpdesk, or technical support (3+ years preferred).
Education in Information Systems, Business, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ are a plus.
