Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Architect with deep experience in Delphi development, Oracle database technologies, and systems integration. This role supports a financial and infrastructure reporting system and plays a key role in modernizing and enhancing internal financial systems. Candidates must have experience with RAD Studio, SQL/PL SQL, and working knowledge of GitHub and SQL Developer. This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in Wisconsin.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the upgrade of internal business systems from Delphi 2007 to Delphi 2011
Design, develop, test, and support Oracle 19c database enhancements
Participate in virtual statewide meetings to gather requirements and support system use
Develop and manage data integration routines for importing/exporting data
Lead and participate in regular software release management
Work independently and manage technical deliverables across Wisconsin counties
Provide system support and troubleshoot application issues across the financial platform
Required Skills:
5+ years of Delphi programming using RAD Studio 2007 and/or 2011
5+ years of SQL / PL SQL development
5+ years using SQL Developer and GitHub
Solid understanding of Windows-based application development and Oracle RDBMS
Familiarity with object-oriented programming (VCL) and Windows Server 2015+
Nice to Have:
Financial systems or accounting software background
Experience with ASTA or RemObjects' Data Abstract
Knowledge of Oracle triggers, packages, and development tools
Experience integrating OKTA or other security solutions with Delphi
Prior experience with SQL Developer, Cloud services, or remote support tools
