Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Director of Project Management to lead and optimize project execution across our organization in Westlake, Ohio. This leadership role involves managing a team of project managers, establishing governance standards, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding of data workflows, and the capability to translate technical concepts into actionable business strategies.

Responsibilities:
Oversee and refine project management frameworks, tools, and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Lead and mentor a team of project managers, providing guidance and enforcing adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and executive leadership to prioritize projects and align them with organizational goals.
Identify potential risks and dependencies within projects and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Manage the execution of complex, cross-functional projects related to claim and payment data solutions.
Translate intricate technical and data-driven solutions into clear and actionable plans for stakeholders.
Maintain alignment between technical teams and overarching business objectives.
Support pre-sales and client onboarding processes by contributing to technical project feasibility assessments.
Monitor project performance metrics, resource utilization, and adherence to timelines.
Promote continuous improvement practices within project management methodologies.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
Proven expertise in Healthcare, Property & Casualty, or Pharmacy Benefit Management insurance industries, including familiarity with claims and payment processing.
Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare data formats and compliance standards.
Strong sense of accountability and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with meticulous attention to detail.
Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on creating effective solutions.
Proficiency in tools such as Project, JIRA, Agile methodologies, and SQL databases.
Experience working in data-intensive environments with a focus on workflows and analytics.
