This is in the Nuclear IT department ONSITE at their Jupiter West Location

INV the last week in June, make offers the week after July 4th
INV Process:
1 round- Teams
2nd Round- onsite / half day
- they would bring them in around 11, have lunch with the person, get to know them, make sure they are a fit with the team etc.
Job Description:
Our Client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Nuclear Product Owner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work closely with business partners, agile teams, and stakeholders to define and prioritize product features, ensure meticulous execution of the product roadmap, and deliver high-quality outputs in line with business requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Business Engagement and Roadmap Development:
Engage directly with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure these needs are incorporated into the product roadmap.
Prepare and maintain the product roadmap for Program Increments and MVP releases, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
Feature Definition and Priority Setting:
Define product features (Jira Epics) and establish priorities in collaboration with the Agile team and business stakeholders.
Convey the vision and objectives of business partners and end-users to the Agile team to guide product development.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Serve as the primary stakeholder working closely with the Business Analyst (BA) and Scrum Product Owner to ensure successful product delivery.
Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of product objectives.
Strategic Decision Making:
Make informed tradeoff decisions between scope and schedule to deliver maximum value within time constraints.
Ensure that the right features are built at the right time by balancing business priorities and technical feasibility.
Change Management:
Define and execute a comprehensive Change Management Plan to ensure smooth implementation and adoption of new features.
Acceptance of Deliverables:
Accept completed User Stories by verifying they meet all acceptance criteria, either during or after Sprint Reviews. Ensure stories meet the Done criteria as defined by the team before acceptance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field or a related technical discipline.
Proven experience as a Product Owner, preferably within the energy or nuclear sector.
Strong understanding and application of Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels.
Experience with Jira or similar tools for Epic and User Story management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to make decisive tradeoffs and prioritize effectively.
