Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Workday Developer with over 10 years of overall IT experience and a strong background in Workday integrations, reporting, and HCM modules. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex Workday solutions across HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and other modules. This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep Workday platform expertise and a strategic mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Workday Integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, DT, and PECI.
Build and optimize custom reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite, BIRT) and calculated fields.
Work on data conversion, mass data loads, and inbound/outbound integrations with third-party systems.
Collaborate with HRIS and functional teams on requirements gathering, technical designs, and end-to-end implementation.
Develop and maintain business processes for Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Recruiting, and Time Tracking.
Support and implement Workday security models, business process configurations, and supervisory org structures.
Provide technical leadership and mentor junior Workday developers.
Ensure performance optimization, scalability, and security compliance in Workday configurations.
Support Workforce Planning and Headcount Forecasting through analytics and report automation.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration and data-related issues.
Document technical specifications, process flows, and configuration changes.
Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and stand-ups.
Support Workday release management, impact assessments, and regression testing.
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 7 years in Workday development.
Proven expertise in Workday Integration tools: EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Web Services (SOAP/REST), XSLT.
Strong knowledge of Workday HCM, including Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Time Tracking, and Position Management.
Experience with Workday Security, Business Processes, and Supervisory Organizations.
Expertise in Workday Reporting and Analytics, including Calculated Fields and BIRT.
Solid understanding of Workforce Planning, Headcount Management, and workforce analytics.
Experience with Workday Extend and Prism Analytics is a plus.
Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Workday certifications (Integration, Reporting, Studio, Extend) are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in large enterprise environments.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, Confluence, and DevOps tools.
Exposure to global HCM implementations and support across multiple geographies.
Experience in post-production support, testing automation, and release planning.
